Everybody else in crypto knows just exactly what papers that are white. But who will be the folks who write the bloody things?
As it happens, centered on a huge Decrypt two-week-long research (wherein we talked to, possibly a dozen of those) that the writing of the papers is basically outsourced to contractors—many with limited knowledge that is technical. Some are freelancers, even though many other people have employment with personal white-paper mills. They rake in between $1,000 and $50,000 for a single job, which could use up to eight months of time and effort. Most find their employers through social media—Upwork, LinkedIn and Twitter.
The great news is the fact that a lot of the authors we interviewed are reporting a current resurgence running a business, that will be (possibly?) another leading indicator that crypto is growing from the long, withering cold weather.
The bad news, that may probably maybe not surprise anybody who’s watched this room, is the fact that lots of the authors state they are regularly needed to fabricate and exaggerate facts, and are usually met with an alarming laziness regarding the an element of the organizations using them. Leer más
